About Me
Hi, I'm Catie!
I believe the body has innate intelligence and a remarkable capacity to heal. Biofeedback is a tool to help your system — or your pet’s — listen, adjust, and restore itself. Every session is personalized; no cookie-cutter approaches.
My journey into biofeedback began over a decade ago when I faced serious health challenges. Through biofeedback and light therapy, I regained my health and became a Certified Light Therapist. Later, when biofeedback saved the life of my 3-pound Yorkie, I was inspired to continue my training and become a Biofeedback Practitioner. I was amazed by its ability to uncover and correct hidden imbalances, and today I guide both people and pets toward balance, wellness, and vitality.
Poppy’s Story: How Biofeedback Changed Her Life
When I got Poppy in August 2021, she was tiny, fragile, and facing serious health challenges. In her first months, she struggled with seizures, feeding difficulties, and low blood sugar. With constant care and support from her companion Pogo, she began to thrive.
At 10 months old, Poppy became critically ill after a tick bite. Traditional veterinary care focused on liver disease, but a biofeedback scan revealed severe neurological inflammation. Her condition worsened—she became blind, unable to stand, and unresponsive. Emergency treatment and immediate intervention from a neurologist, guided in part by biofeedback insights, revealed autoimmune meningitis—a complication from Ehrlichia contracted via the tick bite. With high-dose steroids and targeted care, Poppy was walking and able to see again within 24 hours.
Since then, Poppy has had yearly flare-ups, which responded to short term steroid use. In February 2025, she experienced her most severe episode yet, with traditional veterinary treatments failing. After months of vet visits, thousands spent, and high-dose steroids with little improvement, I was told the only option would be lifelong chemotherapy—a treatment that would severely impact her lifespan and quality of life (she’s only 3 lbs). I turned to biofeedback, implementing daily remote sessions, which quickly stabilized her, reducing flare-ups within days. She was able to get off steroids completely and has not had any flare-ups since starting biofeedback.
Poppy’s story brought this work full circle. Her journey inspired the creation of Heart & Paw Biofeedback, a practice dedicated to helping pets and people heal by harnessing the body’s innate energy and frequency intelligence.
Poppy and her brother Pogo are known around the world as the Tattling Teacups, with a large and devoted social media following. Their playful bond has captured hearts everywhere: Poppy is famous for her feisty attitude and for tattling on her brother, while Pogo, the calm and gentle soul, simply lets her get away with it all. Their story not only entertains but also shows, in real time, how Poppy continues to thrive with the support of biofeedback.
